Assist Us in Overcoming Break-In Hardship

On May 23, our family home was violently broken into, leaving us with significant property damage. Our family consists of my single mother, my teenage sister, and myself. I'm a part-time college student working two jobs while pursuing my bachelor’s degree, and we’ve been hit hard by this traumatic event.

The break-in caused extensive damage to our home:

Our front fence was crashed into and destroyed

The front window and frame, including window bars, were completely destroyed

The front screen door was ripped off its hinges and split in half

The front door is now unusable and needs to be replaced

A bedroom window was broken

Inside the house, every single room has been affected, and our entire backyard storage and lounge area was destroyed.

Our personal belongings, including everything in our bedrooms, were scattered, dismantled, and destroyed.

One of three dogs we owned is now missing

We’ve spent countless hours trying to clean up and salvage what we can, but it’s overwhelming.

I work two jobs to make ends meet for tuition, home expenses, and my mental health medications, but it’s a constant struggle. My mom works one job while my younger sister continues her online schooling, and we’re all doing our best to get by.
