Assist Richard in Securing Rehab Housing
Donation protected
My mother has many ventures in assisting those in need, as well as encouraging them in God's faithfulness. On her path to starting a Re-entry program for ex-offenders she has met a man named Richard. Richard is a 50 yr. old recovering drug addict who was released from jail on the 9th of September from the Cherokee County Jail. The judge handling his case ruled against the suggestion from his probation officer that Richard should stay in jail until a viable rehabilitation was found for him. Richard is now homeless, sleeping in a tent, and working at the locals Checkers store cleaning part time. He has exactly one week to find a rehabilitation center or they will place him back in jail.
Richard was given a list of rehabs to call. We have helped him call 15 centers and they all require funding to start the program - A deposit and also rent. Admission fees range between $500-$800, then rent starts at $800., and Richard has been ordered to stay in a program for 1 year
If you would like to assist Richard please donate anything the Lord puts on your heart, or even if you can provide a great resource that will not require much for him to start on his road to recovery.
