Help Patrick's Recovery Journey

Hello.

My name is Tammy Marie Rose, and I created this GoFundMe to help the fiancée of my close friend Sierra Wirtz. Patrick Aumick suffered a brain aneurysm while driving on the interstate. He crashed their car, the family's only vehicle, at a high rate of speed. Patrick has spent almost 6 months in the hospital and was recently sent home. He still cannot swallow, so he has to be fed through a feeding tube. He has a chronic illness that requires him to have a tracheostomy to breathe. He can only take a few steps at a time with the assistance of a walker. Patrick and Sierra have 3 children, Page, Briella, and Ryker. The family's only source of income is Sierra's job. They currently do not have a vehicle, and Sierra was recently injured at work, causing her to miss several days. They are currently staying with her grandmother so Sierra can walk to work, and someone is there to take care of Patrick.

The protein shakes Patrick needs to be fed through his feeding tube five times a day are not covered by insurance and come to over $500 a month. They are in desperate need of a vehicle. They are behind on all of their bills due to mounting medical bills and all the work Sierra missed while Patrick was hospitalized. Sierra is the type of person who will step up and help anyone in need, and Patrick is working hard to recover, but it has been a slow and painful process filled with too many setbacks.
