Ashley is a housewife and mother of 3 autistic beautiful children. She started having really bad pain in her back a week ago and went to her doctor in which he thought it was her sciatica nerve.
By Sunday night her pain had increased to where she was unable to move. We took her to West Valley Medical Center where they did give her pain meds and took some X-rays. But they said she was fine. She couldn’t walk or use the restroom, they discharged her without even using a wheelchair.
By the next morning still in severe pain and unable to use the restroom we took her to St. Luke’s ER where they were more caring and helpful. They tried to get her pain under control and did an MRI which showed a slipped disc pinching at the root of the nerve. So they transferred her to admit her in the hospital. She has had an injection in her back that has not given her any relief. She is still unable to walk but 4-5 steps without getting severe pain or urinate on her own. She is still in the hospital and cannot be released. Next step is surgery.
Due to having 3 kids with special needs (Autism) and her husband changing jobs they are without insurance. Her husband has been missing work to be here at the hospital with her and take care of their kids. Please consider helping this family as they are in need of help at this difficult time.
