Ashley Rodgers Recovery Relief Fund

Hello everyone. I made this page in an effort to get some much needed support for our friend Ashley. On Sunday January 8th Ashley was rushed to the ER at Inspira in Woodbury for symptoms of intense vomiting and double vision. We initially thought this was just a bad stomach bug but were completely shattered to find out through a catscan and MRI that Ashley had a mass in her brain stem.  She was immediately transfered to the Intensive Care Unit at Cooper Hospital in Camden for further treatment.

Throughout the first few days doctors took multiple MRIs and catscans and diagnoses changed from a tumor to a blood clot and finally it was found out that Ashley had a very abnormal Cerebral Arteriovenous Fistula. This is an abnormal connection of vessels in the tissues around the brain in which one or more arteries are directly connected to one or more veins or venous spaces called sinuses. Ashley had three of these, two in her brain stem and one around her right ear.

Her procedure is finished and she is making progress but still has a very long and uncertain road to recovery. I made this page and am asking for donations in an effort to alleviate her constant stress about money and bills while she is recovering, as currently her doctors don't think she will be back to 100% for a few months.
