Arab Knights 8U Dizzy Dean Baseball team needs your support! These determined, baseball-loving kids have been spending their summer break focused on practicing and traveling to tournaments representing Arab, Al. At the early age of 8, these boys are already learning responsibility, sportsmanship, and a deep passion for the game. The team has played in Grant, AL where we were Tournament champs, Section, AL, then we played our District and Area tournaments in Albertville, AL. The team advanced to the State tournament in Gardendale, AL, where we attained the opportunity to attend the World Series in Southaven, Mississippi in less than two weeks. These boys are the first team to ever advance to the World Series in Dizzy Dean from Arab.

A sponsorship for our Arab Knights 8U All-Stars provides a unique opportunity for these talented and hard-working young players to participate and compete at the highest levels of competition in their division. Your generosity will also enable these young players to have the chance to develop life-long friendships with teammates, experience extraordinary pride in representing their home town. This is a huge honor and could be a once-in-a-lifetime event, but it comes with a huge expense. This cannot happen without your support. While we are excited and grateful for the phenomenal opportunity before us, we are also daunted by the financial challenge of funding another trip so soon. The World Series will be played at the outstanding state of the art 17 field complex Snowden Grove Park in Southaven, MS on July 19-25, 2017. The cost to each family is considerable to travel and watch their sons play in this amazing tournament. Our families have had to pay for gas, entry fees each day along with meals to attend all previous tournaments. Please help to support this unbelievable group of young men as they continue to strive for even more greatness.
