The Mier's: Adoption Number 2

Welp... we are at it again, adoption that is. Most of you know we had a pretty rocky go of it, but in the end we have the most beautiful gift we could have ever imagined. Adoption, by far, was one of the most challenging, painful, yet joyful experiences we've ever gone through. Sometimes I can't believe we are going to put ourselves through it again; but, this is who we are, and what we feel called to do. We are going to put ourselves out there, again for the next little one that God has planned for us. 
We'd love your prayers as we begin a new.
   Adoption, unfortunately, is very expensive and averages around $30,000 plus legal fees (about $3,000-$5,000). In addition, many adoptive mothers (myself included) will not receive the same maternity rights as biological mothers, meaning unpaid time off with a new little one. 
   We'd love whatever type of support you can send, whether it be financial, prayers, words of encouragement, "good vibes," ideas for fundraising, you name it. Thank you for the many ways you carried us through round one. Here's to the next phase.
