Anita P. Weeks Foundation

The Anita P. Weeks Foundation for Single Parents seeks to serve as a holistic network of support that caters to the educational, social, and domestic needs of a low income single family home.  It is through this mission that we envision meeting the educational, financial, and technology needs of low income single parents, assist with child care expenses, offering job skills trainings, and if needed, offering adult education programming to help prepare our parents for collegiate success.  We want our parents who come through our doors to reach for the sun and become the stunning example of perseverance and strength for their children.

This organization has been a dream of mine ever since my mother passed away in 2004.  My mother was a single parent who never got the opportunity to complete her educational goals.  It is our endeavor to develop this organization in prder to effect lives of single parents all over New York City.

In order to begin reaching our financial goals, we need $15,000 in seed money to help take care of our initial finances. Any financial help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
