Fundraiser For April Buford's Kids

April Dawn Buford, a Sutherlin High School graduate and mother of three, passed away January 6, 2018. She'd suffered from many ongoing medical issues, during the last several years and was diagnosed with Influenza A, just a couple days prior to her passing. This flu, ultimately and unexpectedly took her life, much too soon. Aprils children~19 yr. old Jewelianna, 15 yr. old Gabe and 10 yr. old Isabella and two month old granddaughter, Zareah~need our help and support, both emotionally and financially.
Unable to work for several years, April had become very ill during the last year and very financially strapped. Her only income had been SSD. The mortgage, car payment, utilities and medical bills quickly fell behind. Now the kids are left with at least two months behind, on all these expenses. Once caught up to date, it will be a managable budget to take care of.
Jewelianna is keeping a promise she made to her mother, of keeping herself and her siblings together, in the home they've been raised in for the last nearly 15 years...should something happen to April before her children are all grown. April was a WONDERFUL mother, always putting her children first. She lived her life for them! With the many years of Aprils ongoing hardships and health issues, April had always said 'Jewelianna helped her raise the younger two children. If anything happens to me, PLEASE make sure my kids stay together, in their home!' MANY of us, her long time, close friends and 'adopted' family, have shared with one another, April's final wish. So shall it be...
The home is in desperate and immediate need of repairs, which will be costly and are time sensitive, as the quicker the home is ready...the sooner the siblings will be reunited, all under one loving roof. Funds may also be needed for Jewelianna to obtain legal advice and representation, to obtain legal gardianship of her siblings. She is a very mature young lady and mother of her own baby girl. Anyone who knows her, has complete faith in her abilities to successfully manage the household and finish raising her siblings, the way April would, to become GREAT, young adults.
No amount of financial support is too small and so greatly appreciated! Regarding the questions of this GFM campaign being 'legit.' YES! Absolutely, it is! There are two of us making updates and managing, with 100% of ALL funds, going directly in to Jewelianna's bank account.
