Choices for the next 7 generations.

Around two years ago I made a decision that would change my life forever. I dropped my normal life to go live in a eco village near Dallas Texas. Everything I thought I knew about living life was questioned here at the Garden Of Eden. I have gained not only a whole new outlook on life but some tangible skills as well. I feel I am competent in organic gardening, composting, sustainable construction (aka building with trash), Cobb, husbandry, plus many other things that revolve around being more sustainable. I sit here now with a passion to help my felow humans in creating harmony between themselves and their environment, the Earth. This passion to learn, this passion of service, it is burning inside of me. The time has come for me to move on to travel through out the world giving my blood, sweat, and tears to people's efforts for a happier life. I will dedicate my life to serving other eco villages, sustainable homesteads, and intentional communities for however long this passion exist within me. Which brings me to why I'm here. It is my intention to make my travels to these other locations as sustainable and cost effective as possible. By utilizing realities such as ride sharing, cycling, and if need be hitchhiking. I plan to sleep very close to the Earth, so my resting accommodations will not be that hard to meet. And to be honest I intended to dumpster dive for most of my food while I'm away from the gardens I will help grow. This way of life is not going to be a easy one, but it is what I feel needs to be done if I am going to take this path. Every penny I am granted here will only serve to make my life easier when need be. For example, if I have a long journey with alot of miles ahead of me, and finding a ride to share isn't successful. Instead of having to hitchhike it, I could just purchase a bus ticket as a last resort. This money will only go to last resort options. I truly believe it is up to people like me that will provide the power to shift our world culture into a sustainable one. A Culture that will embody the feeling of gratitude for the gift that is this planet. I just recently got offered a opportunity from the Rocky Mountain Sustainability Center. They are going to buy me a bus ticket to Colorado for a week to certify me in permaculture design. They want to give me resources to assist me on my travels, such as information on other eco villages providing me with a network of like minds. I will be going up there to meet the faces behind the organization, and connecting with their many sustainable partners. After this I plan to make my way to Augusta Georgia to see my brothers and mother. I have not seen them in almost a year, it would be a blessing to spend a month or two with them before I depart on my journey. This will also gives me a great opportunity to put more structure to this voyage. I am anxious to see what comes of this fund me website. I'm grateful for any contribution that is sent my way. I will use it consciously.
