Adoption

Three years ago I was lucky enough to meet and fall in love with the most precious child.  He’s been through so much more than any child should ever have to endure; he knows what it is to go hungry, to care for himself, and to survive.  A three year old child should never have felt unloved and yet when he came to me his only instinct was to survive, by whatever means necessary.  He didn’t know the loving touch of a Mother.  He was malnourished and far behind developmentally.  Now, at 5, I’ve been able to get him caught up on all of his vaccines, get him the necessary medical care that he needed, and show him that he can trust and lean on me as his Mother.  He is a smart child who is happy, active, and incredibly compassionate of others.  He is a wonderful big brother who is determined to ensure that his baby brother is well fed and cared for.  It is incredibly important to me that I adopt this little boy, my son.  When I look into his big eyes I know that I have to do everything in my power to give him the life that he deserves.  He’s been accepted into a wonderful kindergarten program in the fall at a local charter school, proved himself to be the star of his soccer team, and pushes himself to excel at everything he tries.  I want the chance to be his Mother and to ensure that he feels the love necessary to succeed in his life.  The adoption process is long and arduous and to date I have spent over $9,000 with no end in sight.  I am asking for help from friends and family as I unfortunately can’t do this on my own any longer.  Any contributions made will go directly to cover the attorney and court costs for the adoption process.  Thank You so very much and God Bless.
