ANZAC Memorial Walk Battle of Crete

Hello! My name is Andreas Conrad Leonakis.
I'm planning my second Walk of Remembrance to raise awareness of the incredible bond between our ANZACS who fought in the Battle of Crete and the Cretan people.
The Battle of Crete took place on the 20th of May 1941 and saw ANZACS fighting with Greek and Allied forces against the German invaders. It was an important historical event that has a direct bearing on the freedoms we enjoy today.
My 520 km walk will commence 21st of May 2017 from Paniyiri at Musgrave Park, Brisbane. Profits from this year's walk will go to Mates4Mates, an organisation which provides services for returned veterans and their families.
