NYPD Detective Anthony DiCarlo was a cherished husband, father, son, brother and friend to countless people. He was a hero to all who knew and loved him. Anthony passed away suddenly at age 51 on February 22, 2019. He will always be remembered for his infinite love for Maria, the life lessons he taught his daughters, his selfless generosity to all he met, his silly jokes, his commitment to his NYPD family, and the strong friendships he created across the world. He was first and foremost a family man. He will be deeply missed forever.
Anthony is survived by his incredible wife, Maria, and their beautiful daughters Maria, Daniella and Ariana. Anthony is also survived by his loving father, Anthony, his two brothers, Jason and Marc, sister-in-law Nicole and countless devastated family members. Anthony was predeceased by beloved mother, Carol.
Maria is a sophomore in college, Daniella will be a college freshman in September and Ariana is headed to high school this fall. Anthony and Maria worked tirelessly to provide their daughters with the best education possible. To honor Anthony, this campaign will provide for his girls’ future educations. The campaign will be managed by Anthony’s family.
