Annual Toy Appeal (HOPE with Sports & Social)

Since 2014, it has been an IOPS annual tradition to spread cheer to those in need during the holidays. Participate* in our annual Toy Appeal, hosted by the Humanity of Planet Earth (HOPE) Employee Interest Group (EIG) and Sports and Social Committee, to help make the holiday season a little brighter for children in the Limerick region.

This year’s Toy Appeal will be a welcome return to volunteers from Regeneron delivering presents purchased from donations received. Getting involved is easy - simply donate €30 directly to the Toy Appeal GoFundMe page by Friday, November 25.

All donations will be sent to Banaghan & Co. who will select and purchase suitable toys for the children on our behalf. The presents will then be delivered directly to students at the following Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools (DEIS) primary schools based in the Limerick region:

Scoil Cnoc Loinge B, Knocklong

Scoil Aine Naofa, Rathkeale

Presentation Primary School, Sexton Street

Thanks to everyone who participated in the 9th Annual Toy appeal, we are almost there, just the final step in transferring the funds and paying for the gifts is remaining. As the person who set up this GoFundMe page, as part of my role in the HOPE EIG committee, all money raised will be used to pay all fees to GoFundMe and to transfer the remaining money by me to Banaghan & Co. to pay for the toys that we have already distributed to the 3 schools above. This process will occur in the oncoming days. All funds raised here will be used to pay for the toys, vouchers and packaging used to present wonderful toys to the students of these 3 Deis schools.
