Annedemic: TEP read Anne of the Island
Donation protected
Season Three, and along with our newly announced increase in weekly readings, we’re announcing a small GoFundMe campaign to better channel donations to the beneficiaries of your generosity this season: the Mi’kmaq Family Resource Centre of PEI, and the Black Cultural Centre of PEI. We’ve chosen a modest goal and ALL of goes to these organisations – thank you so much for your donation, whether $5 or $500.
More about:
Mi’kmaq Family Resource Centre: The mission of the Mikmaq Family Resource Center is to develop, administer and deliver services that promote the health and well being of Aboriginal young children and their parents, guardians, care givers in Prince Edward Island.
Have a look at some of the excellent programmes that they run, and we’d like #Annedemic to support

More about:
Black Cultural Centre of PEI
The mandate of the society, particularly on PEI is to help share Black Islander stories, culture, and heritage with the greater population and to create a significant sense of community for Black Islanders. Very little is currently known of PEI’s Black history and heritage as much has been lost or uncovered over time. The organization seeks to create an ongoing legacy for future generations that speaks of the “lives, loves, contributions, and achievements of the new generations of Black Islanders.”
