The Young Family

Anna Young has been diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia (SAA) and Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Propura (ITP).  In very simplistic terms, this means her immune system is attacking and killing her cells.

Anna will go to the MD Anderson Center in Houston for an entire month.  During this month she is not allowed to see her children, due to germs and her anemia.

Anna and Will Young have a beautiful 4 1/2 year old Millie and 2 year old Hub.  Millie was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes three years ago. On a typical day, the Young family routine is as follows:

6am - blood sugar check, breakfast, and insulin injection
9am - blood sugar check, snack, and insulin injection
noon - blood sugar check, lunch, and insulin injection
3pm - blood sugar check, snack, and insulin injection
6pm - blood sugar check, dinner, and insulin injection
9pm - blood sugar check, snack, and insulin injection
3am - blood sugar check and insulin injection if needed

The medical bills that are overwhelming and place an even larger burden on the Young family.

Please donate anything you can.  Every little bit helps.
