Anna's Going to Nationals!

Anyone who knows me -- knows about my great niece, Anna Rene'. Can you believe she's 16!! She recently won the 2024 Indiana Teen Miss Amazing title. She is eligible to compete in the Nationals of Miss Amazing, held in Chicago at the end of July. It's an expensive endeavor and we are hoping to help defray the costs associated with her participation with your help.

Miss Amazing is a competition for women and girls with disabilities. The organization believes it is important to encourage them from an early age to take pride in who they are and to set ambitious goals.

Anna has health issues which require her to be on a ventilator and a feeding tube. This doesn’t slow her down very much, she participates in her High School activities, to include band, where she is a percussionist, manager of the girl’s basketball team, and other extracurricular activities, as well being on the honor roll. She is also a member of the 4-H Rabbit Club, and participates in other 4-H activities, as well. She's been through a lot . . . more than most of us will ever have to endure . . . she's still a sweet, caring, wonderful young lady. I couldn't be more proud of her.

We are holding a Trivia Night fundraiser in June, but many who might support Anna won't be able to be there. Every little bit will help. Thank you!
