Grace's Place

My brother George Toumazis and I are organising a fundraising dinner to raise money for Graces Place, a world first recovery centre for children and young people affected by homicide.
Our story is a sad one, but we are hoping we can help others from what we have experienced. Our 18 year old brother Kris Toumazis was horribly murdered in May 1998, it will be 20 years this May since he was taken from us. We went through some very dark times but we stuck together as a family and got through those terrible years, learning to live with the loss doesn't make the pain go away.
We have to believe that from bad comes good. Our Angels with Grace fundraiser is an opportunity for my family to be able to give something back but also commemorate, remember and honour a young man who was taken far too soon. We want to help turn a bad situation that we have gone through into a good one by helping others.
Raising money to help build Graces Place will make a dream become a reality.
