Angela Renee Spell's Memorial Fund

God blessed the world with the birth of His daughter, Angela Renee Spell on July 5th, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois. One of six siblings, she touched the lives of many and has truly been an asset to humankind. Daughter, sister, wife, mother, step-mother, aunt, cousin & friend, she genuinely cares for everyone she came in contact with and the Earth in general. An activist, pacifist, and a child of God, she has left an undeniable mark of tender loving care on this world.
On March 15th, we received notice that Angela (my Mother) had metastatic growths in her brain that had evaded prior detection during her previous lung cancer diagnosis and surgical treatment. Her health took a steep decline thereafter and our family was caught by surprise by the ensuing healthcare and logistical costs. Angela was currently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer. Statistical data said that her probability of survival beyond 5 years was at 5%. Our family exhausted all means to reverse her condition and we are grateful that she received a final effort of radiation and holistic treatment to shrink the growths. However, after a valiant battle, our beloved Angela Renee Spell passed into the eternal at UCLA Medical Center Intensive Care Unit on Friday, May 25th 2018.
She is currently at UCLA Medical Center mortuary awaiting transport to a crematorium of our choice. We are currently consolidating all contributions into one fund and making arrangements for a memorial fit for a Queen. Information on her memorial will be distributed to all those who have expressed interest in attending within the week.
Condolences for those caught by surprise by this sudden news. This has been quite a sudden development for our family as well and we're striving for positivity and optimism in the wake of these challenges.
