Angela, since the beginning of our friendship in the 2nd grade, has been generous with her time and giving of her love. She now has a son who receives the utmost in dedication from his mommy.
Angela has been struggling for a few years trying to make sense of all the hurdles thrown at her.
1. A little over a year after her son was born she bacame a single mom with a lease in an area where the cost of living is an overwhelming obstacle. Her son continually got sick, needed tubes in his ears, and particular childcare for developmental delays.
2. Angela herself was having medical issues that were proving difficult to diagnose. Her son's and her own medical and theraputic needs were keeping her out of any regular/full time work that might be available.
3. Finally she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, her son was diagnosed on the autism spectrum, and the father of her son took her to court for a custody battle.
Whatever money you can give will go to paying for a lawyer and the Guardian ad Litem representing her son's best interests, paying out of pocket medical costs, and paying for food. She is at her wits end and can't fathom how she is gong to move on.
