Corey Brown Family & Memorial Fund

We are setting this up in honor of one of our Salsa family members, Corey Brown, who passed away suddenly.   These funds will go to support his wife, Angela, and their kids.

Angela and Corey combined their families' in November 2016 and were living as any newly wedded couple, happy, full of hope and planning for the future. Angela recently quit her job to be at home with her family and to manage their new house. With Corey having been the lead provider, you can quickly understand how this is not only heartbreaking, but also a financial emergency. Please help with what you can.

Our goal is $15,000 to help cover funeral costs, continue house payments and bills, and alleviate stress from other expenses she and her family may incur during this time.

Below is what Angela posted to Facebook today (Feb. 2):

I am deeply saddened and heartbroken to share this news but my sweet husband Corey passed away early Tuesday. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Words cannot describe how it is to miss the most wonderful man, father, son, best friend, coworker, husband, and everything he was while here with all of us.

I know that every person that got to know my sweet husband Corey Brown knows exactly what I'm talking about and only shared love to this world even through challenging times he always had nothing but love and patience because that was simply the beautiful person he was thanks to his parents Sherry and Frank who I love dearly and have taken me under their wings as their daughter.

I am grateful and honored I got to be his wife since November 2016. We were together for almost 3 years and some may say it was a short time but I say it was the best time I could ever dreamed of. During our time together Corey made our family very happy! He was my best friend... as he would say... I was his peanut butter and he was my jelly to our sandwich ❤ He absolutely had so many great qualities : ) I love every single one but especially his sweet and silly sense of humor! Omg.. I know the list can go on and on...

I love you Corey! I love you!! My heart is full of your love and it feels broken right now without you by my side but I know I when the time is right I will join you in heaven to continue being happy together my baby!!

I will forever keep you in my heart and feel you next to me through our special memories we both shared. Thank you for giving me everything you did and through you I gained two beautiful parents Sherry and Frank Brown. Please watch over our parents and our kids my love.. we love you mi amor!
