Help Angel Grady Beat Breast Cancer

Donation protected
Greetings to all, I am the sister of Angel Grady, and I am raising funds to help support my beautiful 34-year-old sister Angel, her 15-year-old daughter Justice and her unborn baby girl Honesty as Angel battles breast cancer. Angel has worked in the housekeeping department at Grossmont and then Scripps Hospital in San Diego, CA for over 10 years. In late 2023, Angel was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Since being diagnosed, she has been unable to work as the disease has affected her strength and mobility. In addition to dealing with her recent cancer diagnosis, Angel learned that she is also pregnant with a baby girl, whom she has named Honesty. Angel is 21 weeks pregnant and will need to prepare for her new baby girl as well as continue to care for Justice as she is their only provider and guardian. She has been hospitalized since February 27, 2024, as her team of doctors do all they can to ensure that she is strong and healthy enough to deliver Honesty safely.

When Angel is released from the hospital, she will need 24-hour nursing care every day. In addition to the 24-hour care that is needed, Angel and our mother (with whom she resides with) must move from their current residence within the next 30 days. In Angel’s current condition, she cannot assist physically or financially. To ensure that my sister can regain her strength and recover from Breast cancer, she also doesn’t need to worry about her children not having a home to go to.

The added stress of having to move only makes trying to fight the battle of cancer that much harder. For the average person, one might give up, but not my sister! She is strong, she is brave, and she is determined to fight this battle everyday head on! She is the strongest, most fearless person I know. She deserves not to have to worry that she or her children will not have a place to go or have the things they need while she is fighting for her life.

Your generosity, whether big or small, will not only contribute to securing a home for my sister and her children, but also serve as a powerful reminder that she is surrounded by love and compassion. The donations that are received from this GoFundMe Campaign will additionally be allocated to meet their basic needs for education, healthcare, and overall well-being. Together, we can and will provide the support Angel needs to face this journey with courage and resilience!

Please consider donating and sharing this message with others who may be willing to lend a helping hand. Your kindness will truly make a difference in my sister’s fight against cancer. Thank you for your love, support, and thoughts during this challenging time. The family kindly requests that you please respect their privacy during this difficult season.

Lastly, to all the ladies out there, no matter your age, please be vigilant about doing monthly breast self-examinations and get your mammograms, it could save your life.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Nykesha Potts
