Andrew Presley motorcycle accident

4/30 UPDATE FROM APRIL: I just want to say again how truly grateful I am for every call, text, message, food brought, prayer prayed (and everything in between)for Andrew and my family! I am happy to say WE ARE HOME!!!! He has a very long road to recovery! But in time I am sure he will be back to his normal self. Well, as normal as he can be. He has suffered some memory loss. We pray that will come back over time. The doctors are anticipating full recovery with the exception of the memory loss. God is so good!!! This accident could have been so much worse than it was! And I for one am so, so thankful it wasn't!! 4/28 UPDATE: Good news! Andy has moved down to a step down unit today!! He is still in a lot of pain but doing better. He still has a long road ahead of him but is on the right path. He was able to get up and sit in a chair today for a few minutes and also eat a few bites from his dinner tray! (He fought April on it a little but he obviously lost that battle! ) He is having some memory problems but hopefully over time it will all start coming back. Prayers are being answered so keep them coming!! I am hopeful each update with continue to get better and better! Thank you all again for you love, support, donations, and prayers! First let me say, on behalf of the Presleys, THANK YOU! I know the love and support from everyone means so much to them. It has touched my heart to see the community, friends, and family come together to help such a special family in their time of need! So again, we thank you for your love and prayers! I have spoke with April, Andy's wife, and she is doing ok right now. We have a few more details on Andy. He has suffered a fractured skull and has multiple brain bleeds. He is currently in ICU and is not out of the woods yet. They are watching him closely and if there are no changes in his scans we are hopeful he will be moved to a regular room in the next few days. I will update as I am able to. In the meantime, Keep your prayers coming! Andy, a local Shreveport Police K9 handler, was involved in a motorcycle accident today while riding in Mena, AR. At this time, we do not have any updates on his condition.  We are just trying to raise some money to help him and his family get through these next few weeks.  We will update this as we hear from the family.  Please donate if you can, but most of all keep them in your prayers!
