Texas A&M MEDLIFE Peru Clinic

Hi! My name is Andie Edwards, and I'm a senior Health major (pre-nursing) at Texas A&M University. I'm raising money to volunteer with MEDLIFE in Cusco, Peru this upcoming January. In January 2017, I volunteered for one week alongside 40 other Aggies, a wonderful Global Brigades staff, and Nicaraguan doctors in order to provide the community of Los Zarzales with medical care and clean water. I’m happy to say that we treated a record 1,050 patients! The people of Estelí and León showed us so much love, gratitude, kindness, and joy, and I hope to have the opportunity to spread my help to Peru. As a volunteer, I will work closely with medical professionals on the Clinic, work on a community development project, and generally help out however I can! In order to participate in this wonderful service journey, I'm trying to raise $2500. Any help would be much appreciated, and I will be sharing photos from the mobile clinc. Thanks and gig'em!
