Fund for Year of Service with PVI

Hello friends, family and loving supporters!
As of July 12th of this year and continuing until July 31st of next year, I will be traveling on my life's next adventure, moving to Mandeville, Jamaica to work with the Passionist Volunteers International.
On my first service immersion trip in 2014, my eyes were opened to the love of those in greatest need. Since then, I’ve been blessed with several chances to walk with the suffering, live without excess, rely on community and faith in a greater purpose. I have been frustrated and challenged, but I’ve also been motivated to understand and connect with the world around me. Following this drive, I have chosen to dedicate a year of my life to working and living with the impoverished of Mandeville, Jamaica.
As of July 2016, I will be working at a number of sites through the Passionist Volunteers International (PVI) program, from mentoring children in school to providing support in a local infirmary and making home visits to those with mental and physical handicaps. I will also be living with seven other volunteers, where we will learn and grow together in community.
The program encourages us to raise money for living expenses as all our financial needs for the year are covered through PVI. Thus, whatever you donate will help cover the costs for my housing, food, and transportation to and from my work sites. I would be so grateful for whatever gift you can make. Know that any form of support is greatly appreciated and makes you a special part of my journey.
