Amplified Voices Productions (AVP) works for the empowerment of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities through the cultivation and production of screenplays written specifically by underrepresented artists as well as,, offering career services to provide CVs, headshots, reels and independent contractor business support.

About the film:
Title: Can We Be Honest - A Short Film by Erin Lamar
Logline: The summer of 2020 turned Dom’s world view on its head. With a global pandemic and a resurgence of the racial justice movement putting communities in conflict, Dom, must figure out how to navigate his way forward with the most important relationship in his life, his life long friendship with his white best friend, Cheyanne. But, when Cheyanne and her wife invite Dom and his new bf to a dinner party, the women share surprising news that forces Dom to confront his beliefs, identity and world view.
