Hi, my name is Sassan Shahidi and i am fundraising for my cousin Mr Amir Sanii.
Amir has been an independent Certified Residential Appraiser since 1990, serving Marin, Sonoma, and Napa counties at Metro Property Valuation, located in Glen Ellen, California.
On May 1, 2022, he was rushed to the ER at Sonoma Valley Hospital in Sonoma, California. After CT scan, MRI, and numerous tests, he was diagnosed with stroke. Unfortunately, this was his second stroke and as a result, he has lost the feel and mobility in his left hand and leg. He cannot walk and unable to drive. In addition to immobility, since his recent stroke, he has been experiencing terrifying seizures and had been hospitalized and currently in rehab at a skilled nursing facility in Sonoma, California. His medical expenses are so far in excess of $70,000 and keep adding up.
He is single, never been married, and has no children. He has been the sole care giver for his 95-year-old mother for the last 30 years. Last August, his mother fell and broke her hip. She is now bed ridden and is at a skilled nursing facility. Taking care of a disabled and ageing parent has brought tremendous stress, mental, and emotional fatigue that ultimately & negatively affected Amir's own health. In the past couple of years, due to COVID and limited opportunities, he has exhausted his life savings and had no choice but to discontinue his health insurance.
He has always taken pride in working hard, being independent, and being a care giver instead of care taker. Unfortunately, currently, he is in desperate need of help to get back on his feet and lighten the stress of financial obligations during this dark time. I greatly appreciate your assistance, generosity, and support in helping Amir to regain his integrity and recovery. God bless.
