Amber's son Devin has been battling cancer for over a year and a half. He still has complications that can be frightening - as most recently an aneurysm in his lungs. Amber lives 8 hours away from her son. Devin needs his mother close when he faces a crisis. This presents an expensive challenge for Amber.

She is faced with a long drive, the decision of whether to leave the rest of her family behind, or bring them all along. Then there are the expenses incurred while she (and sometimes other family members) are out of town like hotel stays, possible car rentals, food, and gas. Not to mention the bills at home when Amber and Dan are away from work and income is affected.

I am appealing to you to help offset these costs. Devin is a fighter. A near death experience really showed us how much he wants to live. But a boy needs his mom close to heal. Please share what you can and we will make sure to keep Amber with her boy when he needs her.
