Tragedy in just a moment...

On Monday April 9th Amanda went to the hospital to what was supposed to be a joyous occasion. Amanda was going there to bring her beautiful twin girls into this world. Within a moments time things became tragic. Shortly after the birth of the girls Amanda had complications that she was unable to overcome. At the young age of 37, Amanda passed away leaving 5 children behind without their mother. 

Amanda was not only a wonderful mother, she was also a daughter of two very proud parents, a sister to big brother that she loved, a wife, and a friend to so many. Amanda’s contagious laugh and loving spirit will be missed, but never forgotten. 

It’s a blessing Amanda’s 4 youngest children are all able to be with their fathers. The oldest, Caleb (12 in a couple weeks), has lost the only parent he has ever known. The bond that Caleb had with his mother was like no other. Karen Sawyer, her mother, with the support of her brother Nathan Sawyer will now be caring for Caleb. 

We ask if you are able to help a family in need to do so. Praying the financial burden for Amanda’s family be eased with the support from friends and family to help care for Caleb as well as for his continued education.
