AMANDA GALLAGHER - IRISH FREEDOM PARTY

Hi Everyone,

My name is Amanda Gallagher and I am running with The Irish Freedom Party in this years Local Elections, and I am hoping to be elected as your Councillor on Sligo County Council. I ran as an Independent in the 2019 Local Elections, and enjoyed the experience immensely, meeting some wonderful people. I have been involved in politics for over a decade and see politics as a way to effect real change in our local communities. I am a very active member of my community and was most recently, part of a core team who campaigned, raised funds and built a state-of-the-art community playground. I assist people on a regular basis with various applications forms, letters for housing and many other issues.

As we all know, the issue of uncontrolled immigration is at the forefront of most people's minds, and many are afraid of speaking publicly about their concerns. I will be a strong voice for you on this issue and on many other issues affecting us. I have great plans for our local community, including the provision of a 'Youth Zone' for teenagers to socialise and enjoy their teen years, a place where they will be off our streets and safe. Improved public lighting and recreational seating areas in our villages will also be a key priority for me if elected.

I have proven that I can be counted on, but now I am hoping that I can count on you too! I need to raise funds to help me with my campaign - posters, leaflets, organising public meetings, media ads and all that goes with running a campaign. I would very much appreciate any donation you can afford, no matter how small, but if you are not in a position to donate, then just the sharing of this fundraiser will be of immense help. I feel this year, 2024, will be very special to those of us who love this great Nation and care about the future for all of us.

I am only able to accept donations from Irish Citizens (living at home or abroad), or a Resident of Ireland. Anonymous donations under €100 are permitted. Any donation over €600 will have to be publicly declared to Sligo County Council. I cannot accept donations over €1,000 from one person in any calendar year. Many thanks once again!
