Hello!
My name is Ama Mensah-Boone, I’m an eighth grader and I love French! I’ve been taking the class as my foreign language for three years now, and I can admit that I have fallen in love with everything about it; the culture, the language, the fashion and even the food fascinate me. There is a once in a lifetime opportunity to go on a twelve-day trip there with some of my fellow Francophones and my French teacher, and I have been extremely excited about it ever since I heard about it.
Although the experience of seeing the culture in person and interacting with natives will improve my speaking ability and be a priceless experience, there is a hefty price tag. My parents spend a lot of money on my education, so I thought I’d help them out by raising money to cover the cost of the trip. The money I raise here will go towards hotel fees, plane tickets and multiple tourist experiences that will let me see the best that Paris and Arles has to offer.
