Skyscraper Studios RELOCATION
Donation protected
We have spent over half of 2015 constructing our dream production studio from the ground up. We were only able to be open for less than 3 months before our landlord was diagnosed with terminal cancer and decided to sell all of his properties, including our building. This leaves us with 60 days (December 31st) to completely tear down everything that we have built over 6 months and relocate it to another facility. This does not deter us from our goal of being a staple of the arts community here in South Florida. All it does is delay us for a short while. But we need your help to overcome this hardship. We simply havent been open long enough to afford this massive and rapid transition. Below is a breakdown of what we are facing:
All financial help will go to the cost of construction materials (LOTS of lumber, paint, stains, screws, drywall, etc.), the temporary storage POD we will need to use, the monthly fees of the new location (rent, utilities, security, etc.), and also to help cover the fact that we will be constructing for approximately 2-3 months without any income from our business. Any and all help, monetary or otherwise, is tremendously appreciated!! Thank you all and God bless.
Sincerely,
Jason Sweet and David Patino
