ALP7 Afterschool Renovation Project

Most of us remember our time spent afterschool as a kid. Whether you played outside with your friends or watched countless hours of TV, it's part of who you are today. We ALP7 are asking for help in creating a superior afterschool experience for the students at St. Elizabeth's Catholic School in Queens, NY. 

The students at St. Elizabeth's (ages 3-12) attend an afterschool program in basement of the school. The program has been running for 20 years in a big, beautiful space that has become old and dated.  We want to give the students a warm and vibrant place they look forward to going to each day. Environment affects our mood, behaviors, and learning and we are working to create a lasting improvement for these students and students to come!

We are asking for donations to support the following renovations:
Painting a mural
Painting the walls over
Replacing tables & chairs
Restoring the bowling alley
Creating a reading corner, music center, and study area
Adding plants to the windows
Installing a projector & screen

We are also asking for in-kind donations of the following items:
Books (ages 3-12)
Games (ages 3-12)
Musical instruments
Art supplies
