The real meaning of Aloha in Hawaiian is that of Love, Peace, and Compassion. It’s the guidelines of how to live – a life of Aloha is one when the heart is so full it is overflowing with the ability to influence others around you with your spirit.
Most of you may know that Charlie has been in and out of the hospital the last few months and recently for the last four weeks. He was diagnosed with Leukemia back in 2011 and has been a fighter all the way. He was able to beat Leukemia, however the hardest part has been trying to overcome the many complications that come with the bone marrow transplant, the radiation, and all of the harsh medications. Sadly, this past week he was released from the hospital and is now under Hospice care. Charlie is surrounded by his loving family here in Camarillo, by his wonderful wife Whitney, his beautiful son little Charlie, his loving mom and dad Karen and Chuck, and his two amazing brothers Bradley and Jeffery Beck. We are going to try our hardest to make sure we do everything possible to make sure Charlie knows how loved and how special he is to us.
When we give God our lives it also includes our treasure (our time, talent and money). According to Jesus, the places and people we give our treasure to are the keepers of our heart and the objects of our affection. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21 (NIV)
