Allied Domecq/Beam Wine Fire Relief

Over the past week, fires have ravaged Napa and Sonoma Counties. Many of us in the wine industry work or have worked in these beautiful wine regions, and are heartbroken to see so many of our friends and colleagues suffering devasating losses. The people who worked for Allied Domecq and Beam Wine Estates were, and continue to be, an incredibly tight-knit group of amazing people - even though it's been nearly a decade since we worked together. I was fortunate to work for Beam Wine Estates and to this day, reflect fondly on the relationships I made with many. They last to this day.

At least 5 of our friends and colleagues have lost their homes thus far; potentially more. They need our help. Help to rebuild their lives long-term, yes, but right now - they urgently need our help to get through what is undoubtedly one of the toughest times of their lives. Food. Shelter. Transportation. Basic necessities. This fund is being created so that we can all give what we can, and share the page far and wide so others who know this incredible group of people can help as well. 

Funds raised will be split evenly amongst those in this community who have lost their homes in the fire. To be used for immediate and long-term needs as they rebuild their lives. Funds will be disbursed directly to the beneficiaries.

The picture in this fundraiser is in fact from a 10-year reunion that took place in August, organized by Megan Condron - who herself lost her home this week.

Incredible friends, always willing to help us all, supporting each other in our careers and lives. Some of us have become best friends, sharing countless memories. Now it's our time to support them in their urgent time of need.
