All I want for Christmas is my Wonder Woman back!

I’m Beth and I’m fundraising for off-label drug treatment for pharma-resistant depression and anxiety and long haul COVID.

In December 2020 I was diagnosed with COVID-19 after a hospital visit for an infusion. I suffered a brain injury, heart failure, and lung damage from the virus, resulting in the loss of my career as a public health research scientist (I live with cognitive and memory deficits) and my physical outlet of triathlon training. Depression hit hard, and after several years of treatment including inpatient psych, my psychiatrist and physicians want me to do ketamine therapy,which is not covered by insurance and is not cheap. I was denied by providers who do this at home at a lower cost due to my health status and the need to be monitored in clinic for cardiopulmonary status during the six treatments.

My family has been so supportive through all of this but after running through my retirement savings and living on disability income with daily expenses and out of pocket medical costs (traditional and alternative), I’m asking for help from friends to pursue this treatment and try to get Wonder Woman back.

Funds will be used only for clinic and physician fees.
