Riding for the land I love

From 21 March 2020 I will ride from Perth to Sydney in the Indian Pacific Wheel Ride - an unsupported 5500km race across Australia. I love to ride, but I also want to raise awareness for climate action, and raise funds for Trees For Life.
Like many of you, I was heartbroken to see the scale of bushfires that impacted on homes, communities and habitat for our native plants and animals. I felt distress, sadness, and worry for what our future will be like. I also felt a whole lot of helplessness. Will anything I do make a difference?
The answer is no, not on my own. But with small changes (and your small change), we can all make a big difference.
Taking action for the land we love
My fundraising goal was $5,500. That’s 1 dollar for each kilometre and will raise about 1600 seedlings. But the planet needs more! Can you help me blow this target out of the water?
Your donation to Trees For Life helps grow, plant and nurture seedlings that will become majestic trees, lush bushes and elegant grasses, providing habitat for our wildlife, and lungs for our planet. For the cost of a coffee, they can grow a local native seedling on your behalf.
And then do something extra for the environment for the month of April. Something more than you would normally do. Big or small, I'd love to hear how you go. Together, our actions add up.
If you can spare a little more, Trees For Life can grow more. You'll be supporting their work with volunteers, community groups and landholders, and you'll feel good for it.
