Alison and Jacob’s Gestational Carrier Journey

As many of you may know , my daughter Alison was diagnosed with cervical cancer at the end of 2022. Unfortunately after undergoing several surgeries, radiation , and chemotherapy has left her unable to carry a pregnancy. This situation has forced Alison and her Husband Jacob to look at different avenues to start a family. Before she started treatment they were able to do some fertility preserving treatment (IVF) resulting in 9 embryos. However, since she is unable to carry a pregnancy to term, they will have to go the route of a gestational carrier in order to start their family. Sadly , insurance will not be covering the process and as you can imagine, it is very expensive. This is something that is very private and personal to both Alison and Jacob. But we wanted to gather some of their friends , family , and even strangers to help cover some of the costs and legal expenses that they will be facing in the future. We are so grateful for all that want to show their love and support to Alison and Jacob throughout this journey.
