Who: 1.5 million refugees, over 60% of whom are children, have fled from genocide in Sudan. Most of these people come to Uganda, injured, without any belongings, having witnessed and/or experienced gruesome killings, torture and rape.
What and Where: I will be joining the YWAM (Youth w/ a Mission) and WHO (World Health Organization) teams to provide food, water, clothing, medical care, physical labor to the infirmed and trauma counseling to the South Sudanese Refugee Camp in Kitgum, Uganda.
When: The two-week journey will take place from November 15-30th.
My Why: To reach the unreached and touch the untouched with service, grace and love.
