Alfonzo Griffin Medical Fund

Hello everyone. We are trying to raise money for the Griffin family. My name is Suzanne Tracy and Alfonzo is my brother–in-law. On 4/21/17 Alfonzo Griffin was admitted to the ICU with kidney failure, where he remained for over a week, requiring emergency dialysis and several surgeries. On 4/27 he was also hit with the news that the mass found on his prostate is a very aggressive form of prostate cancer. Immediate treatment at high cost is now required. His wife, Michelle, has been by his side every day helping to take care of him as well as their two sons. Michelle has nearly exhausted her PTO from work and it is unknown when Alfonzo can return to work.

Alfonzo is currently living in Mesa, AZ. He grew up in California before joining the Marine Corps at age 17. After serving in the military, he attended vocational school in San Diego, graduating at the top of his class in automotive technology. He has continued to strive to be informed and knowledgeable about the changing automotive technology ever since. After relocating he found the other half of his soul in Michelle and they were married. They are raising two young sons together and Alfonzo also has three older children. After working at a few automotive facilities in the valley, he finally found a home at Big O Tires in Queen Creek. The connection of family and support at Big O was immediate. He's loves to do recreational shooting, archery, and above all spending time with family and friends.

This fundraiser is to raise money to support the Griffin family in any way while Alfonzo, who is employed at Big O Tires is out of work. This will be donations and 100% of funds will go to the family to help with whatever they need. Alfonzo, in addition to being a USMC veteran, is more importantly a loving husband, father, friend, son, uncle, and brother. He is also not just my friend, but my immediate family as his wife is my sister in-law.
