Hi everyone! Thanks for coming to this page. I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of my boyfriend, Alexander Matthews.
On September 2, 2018 Alex sustained a serious injury when he dove into the ocean head first, misjudging the depth, and broke his neck (C5).
In addition to the obvious pain he felt during the accident, he sporadically lost feeling in his arms and hands. He is undergoing surgery as I’m writing this.
If you know Alex, you know that he is an extremely hard worker and has supported himself since he was 18 years old. Considering his career as an electrician and construction worker requires hard physical labor every day, he is going to be out of work for quite some time.
Alex is very humble and although he is already so stressed about all of his bills, cost for school books, etc., he probably wouldn’t have asked for help on his own.
Any help or support would be tremendously appreciated! Whether it be a donation or just a positive thought or prayer– we are grateful.
