My name is Alex Kim and I have just been accepted to participate in Creighton University School of Dentistry's ILAC summer program. The ILAC program is a great community project with students from multiple different disciplines. As a dental student participating in the ILAC program, I will be traveling down to the Dominican Republic to help to provide dental care for several local campos (small villages) that do not have regular access. As a future healthcare provider, I firmly believe that providing simple health care towards those less fortunate is an important virtue. My goal is to raise $3,000 by next June. The money raised will be applied towards the ILAC program, travel fares, and medical/dental supplies aimed to assist the local people. No donation is too small, any amount will be appreciated!
