Alex Thostenson Benefit

My brother, Alex Thostenson found out he has stage 4 Melanoma that metastasized to his brain on this past July 4th.  On July 15th Alex underwent brain surgery to remove a large tumor on the left frontal lobe.  On August 2nd he then had radiation on the other two smaller tumors in his brain as well.  Alex is currently undergoing treatments every two weeks in Rochester to fight the tumors that where also found in his lung and other places in his body.  Alex will continue with the test MRIs and PET scan's along with who knows what else to follow his treatments.  Alex was in law enforcement for around 20 years, he served with the Minnesota State Patrol as well as the Police Department in Wells, Minnesota.  Alex is currently employed at POET in Glenville Minnesota. On December 3rd Alex's friends and family are doing support benefit to help Alex offset his medical expenses that he has incurred as well as lost earnings.  Alex is the father of five, they are all adults except for his younger two an 11 year old boy and 13 year old little girl.
