Al & Kelly Fernandes Need Your Support

2023 has been challenging for the phenomenal Fernandes family. Sudden, unexpected changes in health are preventing the patriarch and matriarch from doing what they love most - being active, and helping kids, families, and their community through their work.

Al and Kelly have a long road to recovery. We received encouraging news that Al is out of ICU and in good spirits, and will be starting his rehabilitation shortly. Al will require open heart surgery in the coming months, and is still in the process of recovering from his torn achilles. Kelly has been unable to work for a month due to chronic pain. She was diagnosed with Parsonage Turner Syndrome and is patiently waiting for an MRI.

The Fernandes’ are close-knit, devoted, generous, hard workers, and well respected. The next few months will be crucial. Your contributions and support will not only help them during their time of need, it will also help them return to their work that creates a better future for kids and a healthier community.

A dedicated bank account via KOHO was immediately set up to assist with medical expenses, household bills, groceries, etc. An amazing $1400 was raised which will be sent to the family; however, we have decided not to continue with this particular forum due to daily limit restrictions.
