A King is Coming Home

Adoption is not easy.   In fact at the root of it, it is loss. There's no easier way to say it. God called me to adopt Elliott three years ago. He has been my biggest blessing but I knew on that return flight home that I would be back. Once you go to India,  you come back a completely different person. One that has seen poverty beyond anything imaginable. One that has seen the most beautiful people the world has to offer,  people who have nothing yet would give you everything.   Over a year ago I was showing a picture of a little boy who has had a very rough start to his young life. He has endured many surgeries.  In fact he was called unadoptable  you to the fact that he was older and was missing  his lower left leg   He had two failed adoptions. He was old enough to know and he grieved.  I prayed for him but did not think much beyond that. In June after seeing his picture again, lightning struck inside of me.    God was showing me that this sweet boy was to be my son.   Over the last several months God  has moved mountains to help me bring the sweet boy home.  In fact almost all of my funds have been paid for. I am in the homestretch and entering the court system. I just need to raise the final funds to bring my baby home.  He turned five in September. I promised him it would be his last birthday without his family and I will do whatever is necessary to fulfill that promise.    It looks like I will be bringing him home early next year. Elliott and I are beyond ready to open our hearts to the sweetest little boy you will ever meet.  We humbly ask you to share our story. Anyone that donates will get their names put on his suitcase. The suitcase That will be traveling to India and back.  The suitcase that will be his forever.  He will always be able to look back and see the names of people that have supported and prayed for him.  A donation of any size, no matter how small, will still make a difference.    Thank you so much and please continue to pray.
