Aisha’s mosque fundraiser

Assalamu alaykum,

We are raising funds in memory of our late mother, Aisha Saleemi, who sadly passed away after a 20-month battle with cancer. Aisha was an incredible advocate for charity worldwide, and did a lot for the poor and needy in her native Pakistan. To benefit those in need and to support a successful akhira for our mother, we would like to build a mosque-madrassa-orphanage complex in Pakistan under her name.

We would be grateful for your support in raising funds for our project, by way of donations or sharing this page to as many people as possible.

The reward for building a mosque has been established in a hadith reported by Uthman ibn Affan (RA):

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”

In a similar fashion the reward for the care of an orphan has also been outlined in a hadith reported by Malik ibn Al-Harith:

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever embraces an orphan of two Muslim parents by feeding him and giving him drink until he is independent of him, Paradise will certainly be necessary for him. Whoever emancipates a Muslim man, he will be his freedom from the Hellfire; he will be rewarded for every limb of his in equal measure.”
