Aidan's Borneo Challenge

I am a student in year 12 working towards my A-Levels, and hoping to go into engineering in the future. In summer 2019 I am hoping to go to the Borneo Raincloud forest for four weeks with Camps International. During my expedition there, I will be helping support some of the poorest communities in the world, with things such as education, building projects, improving sanitation facilities and helping them create a better place to live. I will also be participating in projects involving conservation of some of the most endangered species of animals there, for example orangutans, and I will be helping with the reforestation efforts, planting young trees and seedlings to reclaim areas decimated by palm oil plantations. 

I am raising money to cover some of the costs of the trip including the programme fee, vaccinations, flights and travel insurance. To help fundraise over the next year and a half, I will be partaking in multiple challenges and activities, which will be updated here in due course.

I have partaken in an Insane Terrain.
I have held a football tournament and a sponsored basketball match.
I have done multiple car-boot sales and random small jobs and tasks, all of which were in aid of raising money.
