Aidan Tooles Eagle Project For Summit Elementary

My Eagle project is for the Summit Road Elementary school in Reynoldsburg Ohio. I realize I have a connection with kids from teaching at church, being the troop guide and going on mission trips. I was a first year student when Summit Elementary opened so I wanted to give back and make my Eagle Project benefit the children and teachers there.
Summit Elementary has a pollinator garden, a raised bed vegetable garden, and extra open space. My idea is to build stations for the teachers to have opportunities to take the kids outside to have fun and learn. The main station is a structure called a “Bug Motel”. This is a wooden post frame built to hold living habitats for insects. This will give the kids a chance to learn about insects first hand and will draw in bugs that will help pollinate their gardens. I am building bluebird boxes farther in the field so the children can look at and learn about the birds and house bluebirds.
And to be able to complete this project I need to raise the money to buy the supplies and feed the other Boy Scouts from Troop 826 who will be helping me out on the work days. I hope you will consider helping out and contributing to this GoFundMe to not only make this Eagle project a success but to help me finish my path to Eagle!
