Aida Garcia's Tragic Loss: Your Help Matters

My name is Yvonne and I'm a longtime friend and co-worker of Aida's daughter, Rosie, for over twenty years. I am writing this on behalf of Aida's family at their request.

On January 10, 2025, our beloved Aida Garcia tragically lost her life in a hit-and-run accident.

Just days after her 71st birthday, this senseless act has left her family and all who knew her devastated. Aida was a sweet, kindhearted woman with a deep faith in God. She had her struggles as we all do in this earthly realm, but she loved deeply and brought joy to those around her.

Over the years, I've witnessed the strength and love of this family. I am reaching out to our community and beyond to ask for help. Any support would mean the world to Aida's family and friends in this time of profound loss and mourning.

This sudden tragedy has left her family heartbroken and unprepared for the financial burden of funeral expenses.

With this being said—if there is any amount you're able to give, it would be greatly appreciated. We are going to try our best to give Aida the proper farewell she deserves and may help us to find some closure despite the heaviness we're enduring through at this time.

We are also seeking justice for Aida since no one has come forward yet.

If anyone has information about who may be a possible suspect in the hit-and-run accident that claimed Aida's life, please reach out to her daughter, Rosie, or her sons.

The person responsible will have to answer to God for their actions. We will remain steadfast in hoping and praying they do the right thing by coming forward as soon as possible. Regardless of whether they come forward, they have to be brought to justice for their actions. Processing through this grief will take a lifetime for us, but knowing who should be held responsible for her loss allows us to move forward with services and will bring us some sense of closure.
