Aid Mark's Family: Overwhelming Cancer Expenses

Hello Everyone,

My name is Mark and I have a rare type of Stage 2 Pancreatic Cancer.

This is the most embarrassing and difficult thing I have ever done, and asking for help in any kind of way is extremely difficult for me.

I'm a 44-year-old husband and father, and I have worked non-stop since I was a teenager, but the cost of my treatment along with our day-to-day basic bills is getting to a point that we are not going to make it.

I am asking for help so that I can keep my medical insurance through COBRA so I can continue my treatment at Mayo Clinic Phoenix. We have already been told that I do not qualify for Medicare or Medicaid and that my FMLA ends after March 2025 along with my Cigna Insurance.

I am currently on short-term disability for my cancer treatments, which is 60% of my income, and it will cost me over $2000 a month out of pocket to keep my insurance, which doesn't cover everything. I am still left with an astronomical amount to pay.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and would go towards COBRA payments for medical insurance, my portion of medical bills, and rent if there is anything left after that.
